This wine is pale lemon-gold, with a beguiling nose of pear and apple, underpinned with warm spice notes. The palate is broad and concentrated with the orchard fruit and nutmeg notes woven through a decadent, textured mouthfeel. The complex flavours carry through to a rounded and lengthy finish.
This wine is best enjoyed upon release made to drink whilst it is young but could be cellared for two-three years if further complexity is desired.
Try this compelling wine with fusion food with a touch of spice and sweetness - a tandoori salmon dish, or chicken coconut curry with mango chutney. Creamy sauces are a great match such as mushroom stroganoff or pork and mustard, or simply drink alongside sharp cheddar, walnut crackers and quince jam.
